Today’s featured song: Just As Much A Miracle by Intrusion from the 1982 album Life Messages.
Track 29 from Tape JM-31, Jesus music that was on the air in 1984, is another from Intrusion. This one I had previously gotten on The Larry Black Show (though on Tape JM-29, in 1983). This one has a much better message than the previous song, Travelin’ Shoes. The miracle of salvation, where God takes all the ways I fail, forgives me, and makes me one of his own, is one of the most amazing things that can happen to anyone any time. All it takes is for me to abandon my impossible efforts to control my own life, and give that control over to Jesus!
Jesus walked on the water
And He made the blind to see
He healed the sick and He raised the dead
But he did much more for meAnd it took just as much of a miracle
To make a new man out of me
It took just as much of a miracle
To set my spirit free
I was just a broken man
With no place left to go
Till Jesus came and made a miracle of meJesus lived a perfect life
But He died for all our sin
He conquered death, and he lives today
In the hearts of His childrenAnd it took just as much of a miracle
To make a new man out of me
It took just as much of a miracle
To set my spirit free
Well, I was just a broken man
With no place left to go, oh
Till Jesus came and made a miracle of meI know He loves me
And He will never let me fall
And though it may not seem like much
That’s the greatest miracle of all!And it took just as much of a miracle
To make a new man out of me
It took just as much of a miracle
To set my spirit freeAnd it took just as much of a miracle
To make a new man out of me
It took just as much of a miracle
To set my spirit freeOh, well, it took just as much of a miracle
To make a new man out of me
It took just as much of a miracle
To set my spirit free
And I was just a broken man
With no place left to go, oh,
Till Jesus came and made a miracle of meHe made a miracle of me
Jesus came
And made a miracle of me
